Transportation in Egypt - Taxi and Buss

In Egypt it's cheap to buy petrol, this also means that the costs of going own car, buss or taxi is cheaper in for example rest of Europe.
If you have decided to go somewhere by Buss then make sure to not overpay. A 20 minutes trip in Taxi should cost approx 20 EGP (Egyptian Pounds).
To go by buss costs less.
Make sure that you have decided on the price before you set our foot inside the taxi/buss, otherwise it might become and expansive trip.

Busses are easy to spot,they look like minibusses. Make sure to check the price before you enter the buss. If the buss is not full, then the bussdriver will try to charge you for a taxi instead.

A 20 minute trip in a buss usually costs approx 1 EGP (Depending on where the buss is going etc).

If you like scuba diving or snorkeling then Sharm el Naga is the place to visit. Just a couple of miles outside Hurghada and the beach and reef is superb for us diving/scuba diving beginners..
