El Gouna
One of the best leisure destinations around the Red Sea is El Gouna, it is built on 15 km of beautiful beachfront, possessing diverse and unique architecture. It is dispersed throughout a myriad of islands interconnected by scenic turquoise lagoons. This location offers a broad variety of accommodation facilities, from luxuriant beach-front resorts to comfy guest houses. Hurghada International Airport is just 22 km south of El Gouna, thus make the area easily approachable by air.
El Gouna has a wide range of activities to keep tourists busy. The internationally certified diving centers of El Gouna are also known as diver's paradise. The very first professional center for kite surfing and windsurfing of Egypt is located here. It also offers many other water sport activities, such as parasailing, waterskiing and snorkeling. Availability of other sports activities is also endless, from go-karts circuit to USPGA Golf Course. If one is not much interested in adventures he/she can laze up and bask the sun's ray at any of the several beaches.
El Gouna's heart lies in the Kafr (downtown area). It is busy throughout day and night. Mixture of residents and guests can be found here. One can enjoy the traditional Egyptian style in construction of kafr, this includes rolling domes, winding alleys and courtyards, all smothered by turquoise lagoons. This lively downtown area has everything that one can expect of – bazaars, shopping arcades, an art village, discotheque, café and wide range of bars and restaurants, public phones, ATM machines, a post office, an internet café and an information center.

Mangroovy Beach : Situated north of the Abu Tig Marina, and is famous for kit-surfing. Other sports options available are snorkeling, windsurfing, soccer and beach volleyball. Beach services include bar, restaurant, camping area, fire pits, bathrooms, towels and showers.
Tawila Island : It is a secluded beach with just an hour of journey from El Gouna. Spotting dolphins and boat ride is a very common joy of this beautiful island. Food and drinks on the beach is arranged by charter boats.
Zeytuna Beach : Beautiful and lively, Zeytuna Beach is surrounded by lagoons and the sea. A 400 m jetty leading into the sea offers path to coral reef plateau and deeper water. Beach services include drinks and food, bathrooms, towels and fresh showers. One can also enjoy dancing lessons, snorkeling, football, beach volleyball, and many more.
Mahmeya Island : The island is just an hour distance from El Gouna and only island to provide services. A beach restaurant offers seafood, grilled platters and pizza while one is relaxing with backdrop music.
Gobal Island : Connoisseurs acclaim Gobal is one of the most exquisite islands on the earth! It takes about two hours to reach this gorgeous island from El Gouna.

El Gouna
If you like scuba diving or snorkeling then Sharm el Naga is the place to visit. Just a couple of miles outside Hurghada and the beach and reef is superb for us diving/scuba diving beginners..
