Diving and snorkeling in Egypt - Sharm el Sheik - Hurghada - Soma Bay.

Diving and snorkeling in Egypt was "discovered" in the 50's. It's mostly diving in the Red Sea that will give you a great diving experience.
There are more then a 1000 fish species. A multitude of these species are very colorful and curious.
In some places it will be enough to go out where there is not more then 50 cm of water depth and these fishes will swim all around you.




So you wont have to go out into deep water in order to see these fishes.
There are many divingtrips as the hotels offers. These could be divingtrips from a boat or from the shore.

Diving in Sharm el sheikh

The largest divingcenter in Egypt is in Sharm el Sheikh. If your looking to go somewhere in Egypt where it's not just diving or snorkeling. Then you could go to Hurghada and makadi Bay. They have more to offer besides just diving.

One thing to remember.
It's forbidden to take corals with you as a souvenir.
So don't disturb or litter down the environment.
